Lions & Kiwanis Fill The Shelves

June 19, 2026 – 🦁❤️ What a wonderful weekend of community spirit! On Friday and Saturday, June 19th and 20th, the Lake Stevens Kiwanis and Lake Stevens Lions Club joined forces outside Haggen Grocery to collect donations for the Lake Stevens Food Bank — and the response was truly heartwarming.

Shoppers generously filled carts with food and contributions, reminding us all that community means showing up for one another. A huge thank you to Haggen for graciously opening their doors and their community space to make this collaboration possible — their ongoing commitment to serving those in need is a shining example of what local business caring for their community.

Thank you to every customer who paused, gave, and made a difference for our neighbors facing food insecurity. And thank you to the dedicated volunteers of both the Kiwanis and Lions Club, who give their time and hearts week after week to lift up the less fortunate in our community.
