Young ones scamper to collect eggs containing candy & prizes
March 2024 – Each spring Lake Stevens Kiwanis hosts an Easter egg hunt at Highland Elementary School. Admission is free and lots of great prizes from candy to scooters. It’s our way to express our appreciation to the community and bring some joy to the children of our town. Our thanks to the middle school, as well as our local firefighters for providing a ride for our easter bunny, to Kathy Fox and her family for organizing the event.
What a great Lake Stevens Winterfest for 2024! Thanks to the Lake Stevens Parks department, the Mayor, and especially our volunteers including the LSHS Key Club, Scouts, the Fox family, & of course Santa! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to our Lake Stevens community!
A recap of the Kiwanis Lake Stevens Beer Garden for 2023
In late July 2023 in conjunction the Lake Stevens Aquafest our club put on yet another Beer Garden, a 3-night event with live music, food and libations. Everyone had a great time, we owe our thanks to the City of Lake Stevens, Lake Stevens Police, Snohomish Regional Fire, Lake Stevens High School Athletics (helped with the setup and teardown) and the many other volunteers, and the excellent musicians including: Hot Rodster Band, Crooked Mile Band & the Lori Hardman Band.
