2025 Easter Egg Hunt

April 20th – We had a fantastic 2025 Easter egg hunt today, thanks to all those that assisted and most of all to community members, Highland Elementary, the Snohomish Regional Fire & Rescue, LSHS Key Club, Troop 71 and of course the Kiwanians who worked so hard to make this happen! The kids were awarded with lots of candy as well as prizes such as scooters and easter baskets of goodies, hope to see you all next year!

Lake Stevens Kiwanis participates in the city’s Adopt a Street program. Our members along with Troop 41 met on Saturday March 22nd for our quarterly Grade Road Cleanup. We scoured the shoulders of Grade Road from the fire station to highway 92, collecting numerous bags of trash and debris (and one bicycle!). Afterwards we had a great breakfast at nearby Fuente de Cafe. Delicious! Thanks to all those that sacrificed a rare sunny (but chilly) weekend morning to help out!

March 2024 – Each spring Lake Stevens Kiwanis hosts an Easter egg hunt at Highland Elementary School. Admission is free and lots of great prizes from candy to scooters. It’s our way to express our appreciation to the community and bring some joy to the children of our town. Our thanks to the middle school, as well as our local firefighters for providing a ride for our easter bunny, to Kathy Fox and her family for organizing the event.

2023 Kiwanis Beer Garden

A recap of the Kiwanis Lake Stevens Beer Garden for 2023

In late July 2023 in conjunction the Lake Stevens Aquafest our club put on yet another Beer Garden, a 3-night event with live music, food and libations. Everyone had a great time, we owe our thanks to the City of Lake Stevens, Lake Stevens Police, Snohomish Regional Fire, Lake Stevens High School Athletics (helped with the setup and teardown) and the many other volunteers, and the excellent musicians including: Hot Rodster Band, Crooked Mile Band & the Lori Hardman Band.
